Agenda Items in 2018 (Part I of the Repertoire)

Part I (formerly Chapter VIII) of the Repertoire provides an overview of the role of the Council in its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security on each of the agenda items that it is seized of. It is a record of the origins of the Council’s involvement in a particular situation and how it interpreted and applied the Charter and its Provisional Rules of Procedure in connection with this situation.

S/RES/2484 (2019)

Renews until 31 August 2020 the measures as set out in paragraphs 1 to 7 of resolution 2374 (2017) and extends until 30 September 2020 the mandate of the Panel of Experts as set out in paragraphs 11 to 15 of resolution 2374 (2017).

S/RES/2488 (2019)

Decides that the arms embargo shall no longer apply to supplies of weapons with a calibre of 14.5 mm or less, and ammunition and components specially designed for such weapons, to the CAR security forces, as notified in advance to the Committee.
