Women at the Security Council is a dashboard created by the Security Council Affairs Division as an information resource on the participation of women in the Security Council as (1) Permanent Representatives (PR) and Deputy Permanent Representatives (DPR) of Security Council members; (2) Invitees (briefers) under rule 39 of the Provisional Rules of Procedure of the Security Council, (3) Chairs of Security Council committees and working groups; and (4) Members of Panels and Group of Experts supporting sanctions committees.
Renews the partial lift of the arms embargo on Somalia and the humanitarian exemption to the assets freeze without specifying an expiry date; renews the maritime interdiction of charcoal and weapons or military equipment until 15 November 2021; reaffirms the IED components ban and adds to the list of components; renews, until 15 December 2021, the mandate of the Panel of Experts on Somalia.

Part I (formerly Chapter VIII) of the Repertoire provides an overview of the role of the Council in its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security on each of the agenda items that it is seized of. It is a record of the origins of the Council’s involvement in a particular situation and how it interpreted and applied the Charter and its Provisional Rules of Procedure in connection with this situation.
