I. Relevant Security Council resolution and Committee Guidelines

The exemptions from the arms embargo are provided for by the following:
•    Security Council Resolution 2752 (2024): paragraphs 2 (a), (b) and (c), and 6
•    Committee Guidelines: Section 12

II. Who is entitled to submit the arms embargo exemption requests?

Permanent or Observer Mission of States to the United Nations, or the international, regional or subregional organization or agency supplying the equipment.
