The purpose to participate in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum to discuss urgent stabilization and humanitarian needs in Syria.
On 11 April 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to the United Arab Emirates on 13 April 2025. The purpose of the visit is to participate in meetings concerning regional security, stability and reconciliation.
On 27 March 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011), and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida, and associated individuals, groups, undertakings, and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Anas Hasan Khattab (QDi.336). The exemption allows his travel to Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 27 to 28 March 2025, as part of an official government delegation.
