On 30 May 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to the State of Kuwait on 1 June 2025. The purpose of the visit is to conduct bilateral meetings to discuss relevant security and regional matters.

On 23 May 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to Türkiye on 24 May 2025. The purpose of the visit is to address urgent stabilization and humanitarian needs in Syria.

On 9 May 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) in connection with his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain on 10 May 2025 to participate in meetings concerning regional security and stability.

On 6 May 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) in connection with his visit to France on 7 May 2025 for meetings with French authorities.

On 11 April 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to Türkiye on 11 April 2025. The purpose to participate in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum to discuss urgent stabilization and    humanitarian needs in Syria.

On 11 April 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to the United Arab Emirates on 13 April 2025. The purpose of the visit is to participate in meetings concerning regional security, stability and reconciliation.

On 27 March 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011), and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida, and associated individuals, groups, undertakings, and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Anas Hasan Khattab (QDi.336). The exemption allows his travel to Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 27 to 28 March 2025, as part of an official government delegation. 

On 3 March 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317). This exemption permits his visit to Egypt on 4 March 2025 to attend the emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States. 

On 26 February 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on 26 February 2025. 

On 4 February 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to Türkiye on 4-5 February 2025. The purpose of the visit is to address urgent stabilization and humanitarian needs of Syria.

On 3 February 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Anas Hasan Khattab (QDi.336) regarding his visit to Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 4 to 6 February 2025, to attend the Arab Intelligence Forum and perform Umrah.

On 31 January 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2 to 4 February 2025.

On 15 January 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Anas Hasan Khattab (QDi.336) regarding his visit to Türkiye on 15 January 2025. The purpose of the visit is to address urgent stabilization and humanitarian needs of Syria.
