Extends the mandate of the Panel of Experts appointed pursuant to resolution 1591 (2005) until 29 September 2007.

Expresses its intention to consider taking strong and effective measures, such as a travel ban and assets freeze, against any individual or group that violates or attempts to block the implementation of the Darfur Peace Agreement.
 

Designates four individuals as subject to the travel restrictions and assets freeze imposed by paragraph 3 of resolution 1591 (2005).

Extends the mandate of the Panel of Experts appointed pursuant to resolution 1591 (2005) until 29 September 2006.

Extends the mandate of the Panel of Experts appointed pursuant to resolution 1591 (2005) until 29 March 2006.

Expanded the arms embargo to include all the parties to the N'djamena Ceasefire Agreement and any other belligerents in the states of North Darfur, South Darfur and West Darfur, Sudan; Established a Committee to monitor the measures and to designate those individuals subject to the assets freeze and travel ban imposed by the resolution; Established a Panel of Experts to assist the Committee in monitoring implementation and to coordinate its activites, as appropriate, with the on-going operations of the African Union Mission in Sudan (AMIS).

Imposed an arms embargo with immediate effect on all non-governmental entities and individuals, including the Janjaweed, operating in the states of North Darfur, South Darfur and West Darfur, Sudan.
