Travel exemptions in effect

On 30 May 2025, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al- Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities approved a travel ban exemption for Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani (QDi.317) regarding his visit to the State of Kuwait on 1 June 2025. The purpose of the visit is to conduct bilateral meetings to discuss relevant security and regional matters.
